The course emerged from the HACK-THE-CITY programme, which took place at the Science Gallery between 21 June - 8 September 2012. During this programme an urban IDEALAB was set up in a disused shop, No. 4 Capel St. Building on the work created during the lab and in response to current and future city needs, we set about developing a course, which would allow professionals to come together and co-develop ideas. From this the evening course was established.
